CHURCH MEMBERSHIP
Abundant Life Centre Busselton Inc currently has two types of membership - Ordinary and Congregational.
Congregational members are the people who regularly attend the gatherings of the Association (church). They are committed to the cause of the Association yet without having the legal responsibility to govern. They are not required to pay an application, entrance or annual membership fee, and have no voting rights unless they are selected or appointed as an ordinary member of the Association. Congregational members express their commitment to the association not by any formal application or title, but by a consistent relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and other congregational members, and being true to the leadership and vision of the church.
Ordinary members however, are the people nominated by the pastor and approved by the board to carry the legal responsibility of being connected to the governance of the church as outworked by the senior pastor and board. Ordinary members are very much a part of the congregation (with all it's blessings and responsibilities), but they also carry the obligation to attend and vote at general meetings and special meetings.
From time to time, membership matters arise - especially as people's circumstances change etc.
To assist the board in keeping current with it's membership register, would you mind completing the following form, and pressing the submit button. The information will be confidentially sent to the church secretary. Thankyou, and God bless you.
